About the tools

Ghaf Tools (image tools, QR generator and simple invoice) are free and provided as they are. Check the result before you use it for anything official.

Your files and data

Every tool runs inside your browser. Your photos, logos and what you type into codes and invoices are never sent to a server, unless you choose "Create link" in the QR generator (details below).

Invoices and "My business" are saved in your browser on this device only. Clearing browser data deletes them, so download a backup now and then.

We only collect anonymous statistics, such as visits and which tool was used, with no file names and nothing you type, and no cookies.

Image tools

We remove the location and camera details from the photos we give you. We reach the size you ask for at the best quality we can, and tell you if we can't.

Keep a copy of your originals; the tool doesn't change the photos on your device.

QR generator

Codes are static: what you type is stored inside the code itself, so it never expires and never passes through a server. We check the code scans in the browser, but scan it with your phone before printing many copies.

If the link, number or Wi-Fi password inside a code changes, make a new code.

QR links ("Create link")

If you choose "Create link" and confirm, we save only the code's settings on our server: its type, what you typed in it, the colours, the design and the words under it. We never save the code image or your logo, and we don't save your name, your device or your IP address.

Anyone with the link can see the code and what's inside it, so don't put anything private in it. Contact cards are allowed, but their details are saved on our server. Wi-Fi codes can't have a link, because the password would be saved on our server.

You choose how long: a week, a month or forever. When it ends, the link stops and we delete its data from the server (within a day). The code itself keeps working, because its content is inside it.

The edit link lets you change the code, change the duration or delete it. We don't keep the edit link itself, only a one-way fingerprint of it, so if you lose it we can't get it back. Deleting removes the data from the server at once.

Every link page has a "Report" button. We review reports, and we can delete any link or block a website used for scams or abuse. A report saves nothing about the person who sent it.

Simple invoice

This tool helps you create simple documents. The business owner is responsible for the data and for following the law.

Turn on VAT only if your business is VAT-registered and has a TRN. The tool doesn't make reverse-charge invoices or credit notes, and all amounts are in AED.

Mandatory e-invoicing is for business-to-business invoices, and this tool does not replace it. For details and dates, see the Ministry of Finance website.

We don't give tax or legal advice. For special cases, check with the Federal Tax Authority or an accountant.

Limits of responsibility

We work to keep the tools accurate, but we can't promise they're free of mistakes, and we're not responsible for decisions or losses based on their results.
