Questions people ask
Is it real size when printed?
Yes. The card is 85.6 × 54 mm and the passport page about 125 × 88 mm on an A4 page. Print without «Fit to page» to keep the size.
What is «Copy for…» for?
It writes who the copy is for across the card, e.g. «Copy for the bank», so the copy can't be reused elsewhere.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The camera, the photos, the PDF and the text all stay on your phone. Nothing leaves it and we never see it.
Is there a watermark or sign-up?
No. Free, no sign-up, no page limit, and no mark on your document.
How do I make the PDF under 1 MB?
In the last step choose «Under 1MB». We adjust the quality until the file is under it, and tell you if we had to lower the resolution.
Why doesn't the flash work on iPhone?
Safari on iPhone doesn't let websites turn the flash on. Scan near a light, or tap «Use the iPhone camera» and the photo goes through the same steps here.
Can I copy the text from the page?
Yes, turn on «Copy the text from the page» before saving. English is accurate; Arabic is less so, especially handwriting.
