Make a photo smaller than 200KB
Some websites and applications don't accept a photo bigger than 200KB. Choose your photo and we'll make a copy under 200KB at the best quality possible.
Your files never leave your device. Everything happens in your browser.
A ready size is the longest side of the photo. Small photos are never made bigger.
iPhone HEIC photos become JPG. JPG has no transparency: transparent backgrounds become white.
We removed the location and camera details from every photo.
Questions people ask
Do you upload my photos to a server?
No. All the work happens inside your browser on your device, and your photos and their names are never sent anywhere.
How much does it cost?
It's free. No sign-up, no watermark, and you can do up to 50 photos at once.
What exactly does 200KB mean?
We count a kilobyte as 1,000 bytes, so "under 200KB" means under 200,000 bytes. That way the file is under the limit on every website, including ones that count a kilobyte as 1,024.
Will it ruin the quality?
We pick the highest quality that reaches your size, and only make the photo smaller in pixels when quality alone isn't enough. We never go under 800 pixels unless you ask.
What if you can't reach the size?
We give you the smallest good copy and tell you. If you need it smaller, tap "Make it smaller anyway" and we'll go further, at a lower quality.
